It is good to be all in one place, many people rarely are.

Approach The Threshold in Stillness

Stillness

There is stillness in the world and there is stillness in the mind. They echo each other. The observer and the observed.

The forces of the cosmic stillness give rise to the mind, and the mental stillness gives form to the world. They resonate most seamlessly in the still point, but even if we step back just a bit, don’t totally immerse in it, what we can witness is amazing and empowering. But who today approaches this threshold?

What is life?

To most it’s activity.

What is your life?

Life is living as you are at the present time.

What are you?

I’m here

You can come here with me. You are not there. You are here.

I need stillness to answer that. [I nod and smile in recognition.]

I think life is not something you can answer in one word, because no one really knows. They just are. You can’t answer it in a thousand words.

You are here because you are not all there. It’s neither here nor there you need to be concerned about. Yes. I am not real any more. I am an illusion.

So who are you?

I’m a monkeys uncle. No. A monkeys niece. The monkeys are our elders. Let’s give them that.

It’s important to know where you are. Who knows this?

Where I am is here together with everybody else. Excellent.

Nothing that appears arises from anything that can appear. Nothing that changes changes of its own nature. Do you own nature?

Funny you should ask. It’s hilarious. Makes me want to weep, so instead I rest.

Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
