The Bible says (and I must paraphrase), “Whatever you do unto the least of these, my children. You do unto me also (read as God).” Humanity has shown an amazing and passionate contempt for consciousness in general, let alone their own mind and the minds of the other living things around them.

Genuine humility would embrace the thoughts of self without dramatization, and thus reflexively embrace the behaviours of their fellow man without arbitrary judgement. A child who is attacked has an instinct to return aggression for aggression. This would not end, but we punish our people for very many things, even pointlessly abstract things, and to what end?

Crowded jails? And repeat offenders. Jail is just a place to stick them so no one has to deal with them. I don’t see any real benefit for the people staying in jail. If we would not kill them and physical punishment is not in order, then they should be set free with perhaps a public record made and shared explaining what they do that doesn’t serve the public good, if even that really.

I came across a saying during my trip to Finland. “Courage is expected here, but boldness is impolite.” It was from a children’s book. Oh, that is indeed indoctrination, and how does it serve to better society, really?

I would have to be very courageous in a world where no one allows me to be bold. Courage is doing what you are told despite it being frightening. The notion feeds self sabotage and even self suicide. Boldness is expressing the self outside of society, and yes, it is impolitic. This is what makes them call autistics antisocial.

To conclude for now, live your life thinking as you do when you are relaxing in bed at night, and neither arrogance or shame will govern you long. In time, as you live like that, all you will have left is the freedom of the full self, and then what will your life lack?

I think I am living such a life, or at least beginning to. Excellent. And still I have been told to stop being in the center of things. Are you doing that or are they centering you? Either is possible, but they do involve different courses of action.

I think she meant for me to stop talking about myself so much. I just told her, “No way. Should I be talking about you instead?” I find it best to talk about the situation and let them talk about themselves until they get bored, as they inevitably will if you won’t take the self talk bait.

I enjoy sharing things, that is all. Sharing things is good, and it’s right that you choose to. But for your own good it may be important to be selective of your listeners. There are people I will not try to share anything with or explain anything to.

It sucks being told you are rude when you sure as heck are not. The only discourtesy is not to allow other selves to share and be present also.
