Masters of All

We seek to rise above the facts of life and petty nature, declaring ourselves as special and worthy of dominion over all else that exists, if not openly and consciously, then reflexively by seeking self-satisfaction in life. And if this were true, wouldn’t the world work exactly as we expect it to?

I am sure those attitudes have not changed much since class systems were put in place for people. Upper class means above all temptations, yet they indulged in more sin then the lower classes did. It just was a “don’t ask, don’t tell” kind of thing. Very true. We even do it to other members of our own species, let alone other species. But does the world work the way we expect it to?

We are constantly surprised, so no. Why do we still live in such a perplexed state?

We add concepts like will of god to explain it not working that way. God, I’m sure, hates being blamed for everything we do. Indeed. This is why god isn’t listening. There is no point in it.

And I feel that God is internal. Even the internal isn’t listening in perhaps most people.

So it’s really ourselves we are disrespecting. Indeed.

The universe is amazingly whole, nowhere has there been left a void of any kind, no part broken, nothing incomplete, yet we perceive problems … Why?

It doesn’t match our thinking and ideas. Why not?

Some would say the devil is in my head feeding me these ideas of self. Some might indeed, but even that is a distraction.

Every instance of manifest existence is a reflection of the universe as a whole. We have it within ourselves to be masters of all we survey for the simple reason that all we survey in any meaningful way is ourselves. Our perception is both wide and potentially very deep. We have investigated more things in our world than any other species on it, yet what do we know? What is the purpose of knowing?

Biology and chemistry. We know about atoms but nothing on the why or how did anything come to be. Yet we witness that very process unfolding around us every day. How can we ignore it?

Supposedly the purpose of knowing is to understand why. The why is self-evident, because self is evidence of why.

We study cancer to know why people get it, etc. Why don’t we study people to know why cancer occurs?

Too many variables. Who determines this and on what basis?

Research grants and cost to study it. Ultimately meaningless abstractions. In your own being you have the ultimate instrument of understanding. Have we in any way effectively transcended self in all of our science?

People often comment on how science is discovering what they have always known intuitively. At a big price, but we don’t trust self so studies are done. Is the objectivity and repeatability in science trying to transcend the self? It is trying to yes, because they would deny the reality of self entirely. The self has been declared profane even in current atheistic science. Yet nothing creates reality like reality, nothing creates success like success, yet we continue to try to fake it.

We try to artificially create the creative process. We try to artificially recreate the procreative process. We have declared ourselves more clever than reality itself yet isn’t it reality we are supposedly trying to understand? How can we understand reality with something we make up? Reveal fact with fiction? Yet we are still here, and the world is still listening to us.

Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
