Means And A Path

Last night I bought groceries and was putting them in the car when a man came up and asked for money. I wanted to help, but I didn’t have any and I remembered your story about giving the guy your hamburger. So I gave him a bag of chips and he was really happy. Excellent. It also shows a deep wisdom. This is related to an understanding of causality actually.

Being nice is part of a greater discipline eh? It is, yes. An understanding of the reality that allows human beings to exist at all, and how that is an ongoing process. Humans exist as a means and a path, not as ends. Ends are deaths, and we live lives not deaths.

My little tidbit and then I will wish you each a great evening. My brain has what they consider deviant functional behaviours. My nervous system just doesn’t process anything in the normal way. There is one thing I do have in common with others, but for me it’s stuck on like a switch that has been removed. When someone panics, their lower brain (as some call it) takes over, and it re-routes your thinking and decision making through the faster, automatic decision making systems. Instincts and reflexes, that sort of stuff. For me, it’s like I am always panicked. But when you are always panicked, panic loses its meaning. When it’s the only thing you can see, you accept it and move with it.

Sorry if this has gotten a bit out there. To bring it down to earth, it’s like all my senses are painful, and when every sense hurts you wind up letting them all go. When you let go of every sense, have a defensive reaction to every sense, and you remain conscious, what’s left is the big picture.

It doesn’t matter how we go about our lives, we will all eventually get there. Timing doesn’t matter, seeming ability doesn’t matter. In fact, the IQ test is only valid if given time anyone can answer the questions. The same applies to real life. It’s real and valid. No matter how weird or complicated it seems, what matters is not “THE TRUTH” but how you get there. I hope this was relevant.
