Preserve Inspiration

Your memory, as we are taught to use it, has been taken up with your thinking. It wasn’t meant for that. Memories original purpose was to allow ourselves to retain impulses and sensory impressions. To keep us in touch with our inner and outer worlds. Not to be a stage for us to rehearse our thinking. Like perfume of food, they say perfumes have a memory and foods have an aftertaste. Well, the memory is the aftertaste of the immortal ambrosia of Cerridwens brew from the Celtic myth.

Memory is to preserve inspiration. It’s not meant to keep anything about you rigid. The most rigid people on the planet we bury in holes. We call the state rigor mortis, but as they say everything has its time and place. I want my rigor mortis to happen on natures timeline. Even death itself happens in stages, not all at once. We want things all at once, but because we want it we won’t let ourselves have it. That would be crazy.

I don’t let me have it all at once, because I feel I couldn’t handle it or even enjoy it much all at once. Oh yes, and that makes sense. It’s like eating too many foods at once, but even that is natures time. Gaias heartbeat is yours, or to use Hindu symbolism, the breath of Brahma is your breath. The cycles support us and are a gift to us. Beginners mind is the mind of the sage, so here is the dirty little secret

We are all enlightened.

Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
