Emotion is an exchange of energies between our own system and the “external” environment, and has an order not at all in context if seen as a purely subjective experience. Emotion has a lot of depth not only in feedback regarding our biological health, but in understanding our perceptual processing also. All the great spiritual traditions have for their bottom line, the line of thinking; “What is emotion? Why do we have it and what should we do with it?” Emotions, like imagination, are your reality. Emotion is self. Energy is self, and your emotion is your energy. If you won’t reclaim it, you won’t change it.

“Feelings are not supposed to be logical. Dangerous is the man who has rationalized his emotions.” David Borenstein (Polish artist)

“The emotions aren’t always immediately subject to reason, but they are always immediately subject to action.” William James (American Philosopher and Psychologist, leader of the philosophical movement of Pragmatism, 1842-1910)

  • Emotion Is Connection

    Emotion Is Connection

Emotion is not as straightforward as it might seem, and you hear a lot of “common sense” talk downplaying emotion. Emotions is the internal awareness that keeps us informed of our state of being. Emotion = connections. No connections would mean no emotions. In fact, emotion has a lot of depth not only in feedback…

  • Emotional Distortion

    Emotional Distortion

Can emotion be linked to our instincts or vice versa? Oh, indeed. It can be linked to that, but on to the confusion before we get to the clarity. The information, the light that allows us to see, the chemicals that let us smell and taste, the vibratory behaviour of matter that lets us touch…

  • Transformation

    Transformation

I can now go into transformation. What causes any molecule to transform? Too many or too few bonds? Atoms get added or removed? In part, but in a theoretical vacuum (which don’t actually exist by the way), they would not transform on their own. Exchanges of energy cause molecular transformation. The point is, that the…

    Spiritual Emotion

We discussed the spiritual basis of emotion, placing emotion and the heart as the foundation of spirituality. Then explored a variety of nuances behind it. What is your way of understanding and dealing with emotion? Hawaiian culture has always taken emotion more seriously than the west, unless I’m mistaken. Taken it as all natural, not…

  • Mana

    Mana

Would it be fair to say that “psychics” have one or more mana allergies? Some over sensitivity to various energies that spurs them into weird reactions? Over reactions, and likely antipathies, strange dislikes. It is over reaction that only indicates dis harmony. True, with greater strength everything could be taken in stride. All the great…

  • Emotion Is Reality

    Emotion Is Reality

There is more serenity in emotion. I actually get very calm, and in fact, they have tested peoples perceptual clarity when they are angry. They discovered if you’re in a bad mood, your mind is very clear. I imagine only if you’re not emotionally retentive? True, if you are retentive of anger it will lose…

    Be The Power

I can tell you one thing. Tell me what you think your state of mind is and tell me what your experience is, and I can tell you why you are confused. People’s perception of their personal state of mind/being often doesn’t agree with their perception of their circumstances. But bottom line, your circumstances are…
