Spirituality for Living

Love governs your behaviour, and so does hate. What we love, we give our loyalty to. What we hate, we give our loyalty to also. We need not go to hate, but to deny that you can go to hate, or say that you never go to hate, denies you that chance to choose. Maybe we learned hate when someone told us we couldn’t play. A lot of emotional scars people have come from being told simply that. The way of hate is not the way of love.

Hating Hate

I find it funny how dual peoples minds are. They think love is opposed to hate, that being friendly is different from being aggressive. It differs in quality from love certainly, but in my experience it’s not that simple. We move in the world, in the situations we find ourselves in, in relationship to other people and things. Learned Hate

Hate is learned. We ascribe evil qualities to fire, because it seems to lay things to waste. We do not permit it place. In the natural dynamic tension there is no hate. Fire does not hate, and its energy though it destroys gives new life as well. Destruction in Hate

Hate destroys by depletion. It shows itself in war with hate as the idea of conquest and taking by force. But in fighting and destroying, you lose what you supposedly would desire to possess.
