'Shamanism' Articles
Shamanism is spiritual, but it is not a religion. The energy that has been the focus of Shamanism is life. Life force. Everything exists because it has life energy, and nothing can exist without it. To the Shaman, everything that exists has something to teach you. The moon has life energy that it can share with you, and so does the sun. The vision you have in moonlight won’t be the same as those you have under the sun, because the wisdom of the moon and sun are different.
Ultimately, everyone is or can be a Shaman. For the Shaman, their way wasn’t just a role, it was a passion as well. Often an all consuming interest.
“The internal dialogue is what grounds people in the daily world. The world is such and such or so and so, only because we talk to ourselves about its being such and such and so and so. The passageway into the world of shamans opens up after the warrior has learned to shut off his internal dialogue.” Carlos Castaneda
“Intent is not a thought, or an object, or a wish. Intent is what can make a man succeed when his thoughts tell him that he is defeated. It operates in spite of the warrior’s indulgence. Intent is what makes him invulnerable. Intent is what sends a shaman through a wall, through space, to infinity.” Carlos Castaneda (Peruvian born American best-selling Author and Writer, 1925-1998)

World Of The Shaman
In the world of the Shaman, there is no real separation between the inner world, that we now call the mind, and the outer world, that includes nature. Shamans often saw little events as nothing more than spiritual mischief or humour. It would probably benefit people a lot today, if they didn’t take things that popped up in their head as if every one were a crisis. The world of sensation… Seek More

Knowing The Spirits
The Shaman comes to know the spirit personally, and they learn more than just how the spirits affect humanity. They learn how the spirits relate to each other, and just as when a fight breaks out in a tribe, a little bit of reason can lead to peace being restored. They saw troubling events in the world as coming about because of a disharmony in the spirit world. This is where the Shamans spirit mentor came in. There have been many forms of spirit mentor across the world, and they were always discovered on a very personal basis. But your… Seek More
Shamanic Practice
Want a general example of how to do Shamanism? Well, you can just let your spirit wander, but they call that day dreaming these days. So let’s actually chose a focus, something we want to understand, or a problem we want to solve and issue we want to overcome. If you care to share, I will give the next instruction. It will differ from situation to situation. It’s more of an art than a science. Hmmm, thinking. In Shamanism, even thinking is communicating with spirits.
