If you’re new here, seek and you will find…and subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting! There is a simpler word for gratitude, but the word is generally seen in a more abstract light. Gratitude is love.
We didn’t make ourselves. We are not the source of our own advent. We still exist due to a [...]

People mistake consciousness for individuality. There is a transcendent and encompassing consciousness. Our ancestors knew of it…Spirits of place. There is also a natural drive to harmony, to supporting the group. Order and disorder balance where there is oneness with the greater consciousness. We see Gaia consciousness as really just regulating simple creatures.
What moved me [...]

We do have a duty and the motive is love. Interestingly, love is not a passion, it transcends those dynamics. It is a principle that cannot be confined to the inner vortex of passions.
‘Duty‘. If you understand the word, ‘dharma’ is closer. It is a way, not a single force, but the encompassing rule of [...]

Magick is a broad subject, but has a simple essence that gets lost terribly in many sources on the subject. Most people think of the human body and mind as somehow closed systems, but in fact this is very far from the case. We absorb the material and reflexively the essence of all the elements, [...]

Omens are phenomenon that occur independently of any “practice” you might be involved in. They are like the little signs that occur before a quake or volcanic eruption or a violent storm, and this is part of how you can recognize an omen from an unrelated event. Because daily you also move through events that have come [...]

Karma is a sort of tricky topic. Karma isn’t a force unto itself. It is more an aspect of other forces in life, like thought and emotion. Everything that transpires around us and in us has a karmic trait to it. A degree of impact, and it doesn’t have an effect entirely of its own [...]

Life is like an onion. All you know of life comes to you in layers. Your interface for life is your personal energy, which is not confined to the boundaries of your flesh. We don’t experience life directly and even science admits this. So you filter life with your energy at the same time as [...]

If one wants to feel more energy, and more focus, how can one do it via the chakra system? This varies from individual to individual, but start where you started to find more energy. More focus comes from broadening awareness, so start in your root. How so? Well, I will elaborate.
Some ridicule or mock thinks like [...]

We hope you find it of value in furthering your understanding of energy and personal growth. Working with Chakras: Part I starts with an overview, Part II begins to [...]

So to speak more on mortification of the flesh practices, they often show that there is more to us than our desires. Practices served as rights of passage, much like tribal ritual scarification. It still is practiced in the Opus Dei. They are flagellates if I recall. Opus dei, work of god in Latin. Some [...]

So, are you advocating for self-mortification? No. I am advocating experience. No one practice. When you are impassioned, and begin cleaning house despite physical fatigue, you restructure your whole living space. You ache miserably after pushing yourself so hard, but from somewhere not explained by your body something moved you. Experience of this I see [...]

Example of a modern mortification of the flesh: caffeine. It tends to make us feel very alert, but also uncomfy. However, it is so taken for granted that it is little questioned in general and we schedule our time and lives around an unnatural rhythm. It has a positive affect for some and isn’t an [...]

It is safe to say that both mortification of the flesh and the stock market crash are manifestations of something. We learn by testing. We learn by trial, and in the past there have been trials of all kinds. Now we are putting our trade on trial. People want to feel safe and will create risk [...]

The topic is an issue that comes up a lot, but is rarely given any formal answer for. Roughly, I will address the place of humanity in the universe.
It can be argued that in order for man to arise (male and female), the universe itself had to satisfy rather unusual parameters. With all the factors [...]

Anxiety is a very real force, and it destroys things in our lives. You cannot solve a problem in the same state of mind that you become aware of it in. It’s that state of mind that gave rise to it. Has anyone had anxiousness ever help them deal with anything? Did it help, or [...]
