Root Races

I was shown the page on root races. I found it very interesting. Excellent theosophical information. It is an interesting line of thought at least in an academic sense.

No doubt a touchy subject. It can be seen as racist.

That sort of thinking was much more common in Blavatsky’s era. I’m reading something of interest from that era currently. The author is not themselves racist, but even non-racist thinking from that time come across as racist now. There was a sort of pervasive xenophobia affecting Caucasian culture at the time, I think.

Well, between science and political correctness, I’ll side with science.

I’ve read that eugenics was heavily promoted in the USA prior to WWII by officials.

If you believe in evolution, it makes sense that some races evolved before others.

I think it’s interesting they say the first race was etheral, and the second reproduced by budding, like a plant.

There was a character on a parody sci-fi show who budded.

Science often doesn’t side with science so damned either way you go like the recent super symmetry issue, and if they are wrong about their understanding of particle physics, then a lot more contemporary “observation” is also wrong, and they object to other sorts of assumption. It seems a bit hypocritical to me.

Yes, no doubt much of our current science is wrong.

Well, skeptics on the internet tend to be close minded, very sophmoric. Yes, often when recent credible science has even proven their view wrong.

Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
