Emotion
Emotion is an exchange of energies between our own system and the “external” environment, and has an order not at all in context if seen as a purely subjective experience. Emotion has a lot of depth not only in feedback regarding our biological health, but in understanding our perceptual processing also. All the great spiritual traditions have for their bottom line, the line of thinking; “What is emotion? Why do we have it and what should we do with it?” Emotions, like imagination, are your reality. Emotion is self. Energy is self, and your emotion is your energy. If you won’t reclaim it, you won’t change it.
“Feelings are not supposed to be logical. Dangerous is the man who has rationalized his emotions.” David Borenstein (Polish artist)
“The emotions aren’t always immediately subject to reason, but they are always immediately subject to action.” William James (American Philosopher and Psychologist, leader of the philosophical movement of Pragmatism, 1842-1910)
