Nephilim
Descendents of the elders. Their relationship to human spirituality has always been a complicated one, if not automatically adverse. These are the people who the ancient Hebrews called the nephilim. Being hybrid humans, they are a part of the human process, but they do participate in the human process in a different context. They tend to struggle with what you might call syntax errors. They do and don’t know what they are doing.
The nephilim respond to humans the way humans respond to themselves. They are like living spiritual amplifiers. They are the deeply resentful young person, or the hopeful shining youth.
