Truth
Nothing is self-evident. No truth can stand alone as any singular evidence of principle, purpose or virtue. Nothing is true, everybody lies, everything lies. It takes up a position in space and time, and in doing so displaces other possible conditions. Reality is a web of permissions and obligations. When conditions are right, then any possible thing can happen. That is the definition of possible. Possible is that which is permitted. The difference between permission and obligation is weight, tension.
We can have different truths when the concept of truth is dropped. When you throw around their idea of truth, then something has to be the lie. When truth just isn’t relevant to the matter, you can just deal with what is, including where everyone is at in their hearts and minds.
“Truth is stranger than fishin.” Jimmy Buffett (American Singer and Songwriter, b.1946)
