Spiritual Thoughts for the Lazy Seeker
Leave us your thought, or a famous quote that has inspired you.
If there is any reality then you are real, and your choices are based on you.
Simple truth, there is no such thing as absolute change. In any change that occurs in your life something always endures. We are not what we do, but what we do does in many ways stem from what we are.
The power of souls is beyond any artifice. We are made from and by it, and we rise or fall in part by that power in others.
Thought creates. All creation is revelation.
Perception is internal, regardless of it seeming to have no causative connection. People try manifesting but change a surface thought and not any element of their world view. Then the world view snaps back in, and they say manifestation isn’t possible.
All things have a negative side. Every light casts a shadow. One can feel that they don’t entertain a thought, but you can’t avoid entertaining negatives. They are an inherent part of the equation that allows you to arrive at positives.
We don’t find freedom by knowing fear inside and out. We merely find that we can be free and hop back in the hole most times. People are in love with the devil they know.
The way of control is in the way of the controlled. The concept of control is what prevents control. It implies something must be controlled.
The way of thought is the way of definition. A focusing of the minds eye to see details better. People mistake control for artifice, though artifice inevitably fails.
“It’s a luxury to be understood.” Ralph Waldo Emerson. A mission to understand. Know thyself.
You need never predict. Any future is now. What happens next is originating now with our choices and everyone else’s also. And we choose based on what’s on our minds.
Change is subatomic. I break your nucleic bond and smile. Change is minute. There are no big changes. Never anything big. Just a bunch of small things we eventually notice.
Death is the great equalizer, and all change is heat death, a.k.a. entropy.
Death is an illusion. Every atom in your body is immortal. After is illusory. After is an afterthought when you weren’t otherwise paying attention. “Don’t be afraid.” “You die now.” Living death? Better than the alternative. I would rather live death than die my life. I died yesterday and the day before. I never felt so alive.
It would be much more honest to say, ‘See you yesterday.’ For most, it’s what they see.
You can’t get there from here. Remember wherever you go there you are, and there is no enemy anywhere.
Live your life. I said live it! Live it, or I will give you a dirty look I swear…as everyone wanders off ignoring the crazy person.
Not feeling resistant to where I am brings peace.
I will say I worship nothing, and yet I love a lot more. Love is very simple. There is a process of affinity. A natural sense of connectedness to life and those we encounter. It varies a lot and we can deliberately engage it.
Feel the need to engage more? Look and be moved. It will happen.
There is truth to find. Just because the path isn’t straight doesn’t mean there is no destination. Truth is hidden in plain sight. Finding is still an act we do.
Synthesis is an interesting experience. I enjoy tasting blue.
Perhaps all the moralism, and all the self sanctified enlightenment is in its way the biggest fuel for the evils they themselves deride?
Food, sex, wealth, these are the things of the devil? So why do all our righteous leaders have them?
God is very real in our hearts and minds, and in our actions in the world, and regrettably god is insane.
Truth is divinity.
Where’s the fire? Deep inside, as is the way of the dragon.
Well, I really think the egg came first. Divinity was laughing so hard at the idea of creating this reality, it laid one.
I think therefore I think. I think too much. Egad! I can’t stop thinking.
Truth is Spirit and Spirit Truth. Be Spirited.
Relativity is inherently the denial of realism. It denies shared experience.
What loneliness stems from is an error in the development of a sense of identity.
There is a mechanism behind sex. A way and process. A purpose. The taboo notion arises from the limited shallow view of it.
Everyone has a belief system, even if it’s shunning what they identify as belief systems.
There is plenty of violence for all the anti-violence, which is just more violence.
The alienation of sudden death tends to warp the mind of the recently departed. The desire for the life they lost is heartbreaking, maddening even.
Atheists often make a god of humanistic ideals, and in their zeal perpetuate the same crimes they attribute to faith.
The best searching will be done alone even in a marketplace of teachers, because they can’t sell you your own soul. When you see your own path clearly, then you see life differently.
Death is no violation of life. We experience little deaths all through life. Death feeds life, and life death, because they aren’t really separate.
What evil would arise in sex if people just accepted it? What evil would arise in exotic senses of self if they were just accepted? What harm?
If it has to change we want a say in it, we want control but people are unfit for control.
Are you a dog being wagged by its tail? Most are.
Remember! Your not officially crazy untill you go…
BLITALITALITALITALITALITA!!!!!!!!!
It’s good to remember.
Absolute truth speaks in silence, and none can fail to heed it’s voice.
Life is too short for doubt. Whatever you doubt you either really want to do it, or you don’t. So do or don’t, and move on I say.
Most of peoples impulses are right.
I don’t put much stock and feelings in what you ‘should’ feel. According to those who say what I should feel, I should be a mass murderer, but I’m not.
You can’t trust another till you trust yourself, because if you don’t trust yourself then how do you know who’s trustworthy?
Empty can be good. I like space in myself, breathing room.
Awareness comes out in action, word, deed, logos. Everything is language. Listening to that inner voice.
Inner voice = the prime mover. Also inner voice = prima materia = first matter. It’s a part of the bigger order and doesn’t focus on human whim. I do what the voices tell me.
Evil intent differs from evil essence, and it is even addressed in the Bible. There is a poorly understood scripture, but it speaks against “fighting” evil people. If you fight them, it confines you to reacting to them.

Paramahansa Yogananda wrote that we really don’t have that much free will! I agree.

If you truly want peace STOP LOOKING FOR IT! When you accept your non-peace it is instantly transformed into peace.

God has given us all free will. He showed us this in the Garden of Eden when Eve and Adam chose to disobey Him. This free will act of disobedience led to spiritual death for them and all of their descendents. God than gave us a way to be once again made alive spiritually. He gave His Son Jesus Christ – who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, suffered punishment on the cross, died and rose again. It is our free will to make a decision to turn from our sin and trust Him as our personal Savior. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No person comes to God the Father except through Him. Read the Gospel of John.

Please stop racism. When you hate others you also hate yourself, because there is more similarities than differences between races.
Thanks!

We have free will, but it is like a dog on a leash we are free to a certain degree. Our physical bodies get too hot we die or too cold and we die. Our minds and spirits have more freedom, but there seem to be limits too.
Merge with the pure consciousness and leave all limits behind……….

“Treat humanity, whether within your own person or that of another, always as an end, never as a means only”. – Kant, 1785

We are already there, we are enlightened, we are blessed, we just have to awaken to the fact.

enlightened are always aware and awakened for their all actions, if not, they are enjoying illusion of an enlightened and it is enough to remain happy until truth is faced.to be awakened itself is an enlightenment prear to any thought and action.

Seeking means to have a goal; but finding means to be free, to be receptive, to have no goal. Perhaps we are seekers, but in striving towards our goals, we do not see whats under our noses, which unintentionally makes one appear to be a lazy seeker..Oh to walk in someone elses shoes and feel the thorn that is ever so slowly working its way into the sole.

In the bible god says ‘there is no freewill, only my will doesn’t he?
“The Bible teaches that there is no free will. Examining Exodus, Ecclesiastes 7, Ephesians 1, Ephesians 2, Acts 13, Romans 8, Roman 9, 2 Timothy, 2 Thessalonians, Titus 3:4-5 and Revelations, we see that God’s plan overrides our free will; those that do good do the specific good that God predestined them to do, and all others are ruled by Satan because God sends “powerful delusions” to them. The Christian Bible frequently states that God creates our future and decides our fates, no matter what our own will is. It constantly denies that we have free will. Some of the foremost Christians in history have taught that there is no free will, including St. Augustine (one of the four great founders of Western Christianity1), Martin Luther (founder of Protestantism) and John Calvin.”

Hi Travis,
This is more of a question about an individual’s world view.
Can you comment on the idea that an individual no matter their age, projects their world view even into out of body experiences.
I have read many OBE’S and i wonder if you could comment on the idea that what the individual sees in their encounters will be dictated by their worldview???
Travis:

The answer is yes with qualifications. What they see in their encounters is not dictated exclusively by their individual worldview. What people think of as their world view is typically narrow. People think it is just an idea and that is not true. One’s worldview consists of everything they are connected to.
One inherits deeper perceptions from their family blood line, from their cultural ancestory and from their environmental contact. A caucasian person in Japan is still going to see Japanese things, but they’re not going to see it as clearly as a Japanese.
Language is not only a contstruct in the human brain. The artefacts of language also manifest in the astral with the attendant relationships, and this is true for anyone who is a master of language at any age. Music manifests on that level defining the relationship between constructs in an emotional context. Things with which they have rapport will also manifest in their experience. So if they have a rapport with cats, then aspects of the cat worldview will show up in their experience.
The vividness of what they see is determined by the depth of their connections. It is unlikely that anyone will see what is not in this broadly defined worldview.

There is no freedom in the self. It is all trapped in desires, fears and other emotional messes. The ego is a bundle of past thoughts. there is no freedom to it whatsoever. Spiritual freedom awakens in you the moment you are devoid of the idea of having a self.
