Why People Are Like That Today: Life is other people. Everyone wants something different. Problems exist only in the human mind and that’s all it takes to make life “interesting”.

People have very clear notions of what’s personal and what’s “sacred” in their lives. For every well reasoned paradigm, personal or otherwise, I promise that there is someone who has a passionate counter-argument. We live in a world of free will, which means that everyone is equally free to complicate everyone else’s very personal activities. It’s like we all live in glass houses and are so easily offended at even the slightest disturbance from another individual that we must absolutely throw stones. Makes a lot of sound and fury ultimately signifying nothing.

What would we do with silence though? What “meaning” would our lives have then? To be honest, I do enjoy the sound of breaking glass. I would hope only to do it more creatively.

There is another sound you can hear if you take a moment, it’s your pulse. You are still alive.
