Jewish esotericism is a a bit more widely known than people realize. The basic concept is that Gods essence is incomprehensible to us, and the universe exists as emanations or expressions of this impersonal unknowable God. Kabbalists acknowledge what are called three pillars, three direct paths of emanation from God. There is the Tree of Life and the Tree of Shadow. It speeds up evolution by one consciously accepting the paths.

An ancient Kabbalistic prayer:

Universal God, One light, One life, One power,
Thou all in all, beyond expression, beyond comprehension,
O nature; Thou something from no-thing,
Symbol of wisdom,
In myself I am nothing,
In Thee I am I.
I live in thee,
Live Thou in me,
and bring me out of the region of self
into the eternal light.

“Rhythm is the basis of life, not steady forward progress. The forces of creation, destruction, and preservation have a whirling, dynamic interaction.” Kabbalah

“Force never moves in a straight line, but always in a curve vast as the universe, and therefore eventually returns whence it issued forth, but upon a higher arc, for the universe has progressed since it started.” Kabbalah

    Tree Of Life Shadow

Judaism doesn’t have any concept of hell, but the emanations in some schools of Kabbalism have a shadow aspect. The tree of life and its shadow.
