Trouble With Thought

What we realize when we really tackle this subject of the brain, of thinking, is that we weren’t really paying attention. So we get panicky, we say “Well if my thoughts can be wrong, then how can I know?”. Because to trust we need to know, and we aren’t wrong. We do need to know. Don’t know = don’t trust.

Not all thoughts are ‘wrong’, and there are shades of continuity. All truths are ‘aha’ thoughts. The truth becomes evident in a process of realization. It happens despite thought, but your focus did matter. I don’t say all thought is wrong. I prefer to permit thoughts. I don’t have them. I don’t keep them. We came from the mind, and the mind is bigger than thought. Much bigger.

Where is the mind exactly? It is everywhere.

It’s only when we don’t listen to our hearts, that’s when we have trouble with our thoughts? Yes, that brings me to my point. Like a crystal, what gives order isn’t a wall. It isn’t containment. It’s the natural, whole/holy principles in our inner nature. If those are expressed then we can trust, but that’s not the order of things. Those principles emerge first from trust. The trusting that truth, that inner nature. It changes the context of all the rest of it, like an ice crystal spreading.  Your focus determines your reality. A problem is a problem when you say it is. A problem is a circumstance, and maybe not even that given your energy.

If everyone got over their egos, and listened to their hearts, and lived by the heart, things would a heck of a lot better? Their true hearts, yes, but egos are emo. This is why we get confused when we use the term heart.

Reality is an illusion. Close your eyes what do you see? It’s not there? If you choose that. Reality is a dynamic that includes closing your eyes. The choice isn’t between ignore or acknowledge. There is no choice to be had there. You will remain aware, and we don’t get to pick and choose what is. Our choice is in us, thus my reference to the inner principles.

You can’t choose who you love? Love isn’t a lie. If you are deeply aware of love, then yes, you will see love in the world. If you are partially aware of love, you will see love and hate. In the Chinese the word for heart and mind is the same word. In knowing the heart, you know that the heart has nature and it’s nature isn’t dual. In the Bible Jesus says, say neither look here nor look there for the kingdom of god is among you. Among the members of the body.

Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
