It’s a safe bet to put your money on money. Those with the most money will win. Actually, those with the best grasp of information trends will win. It will be survival of the most predictive.
Could be those who hold on tightest to their dreams might win, and that there could be multiple millions of winners.
Money can buy the best people to work for you, even hackers need to eat. At this point money can’t even buy money. This is why things like bitcoin have acted so strangely.
Ah! There is gnosis.
And how will that differ from accessing akasha or karmic memory? You think the cloud will merge with akasha? I think the cloud is emerging from akasha. It is a natural reflection of the pre-existing reality, a shadow that reflects reality better than our current society and scientific structure does or perhaps even can thus Kurzweil’s predictions come into effect. It starts with computing. Have you been following how quickly nanotech has been progressing?
Its speed is exceeding market demand, faster than money. They discover uses while they are busy trying to perfect other uses. They are rapidly “inventing things” faster than they can anticipate them.
The whole proteome project actually draws its methods from parallel nanotech research. That pattern of protein sequencing that they are using to examine the behaviour of living organic systems to predict organic outcomes.
As much as they have failed to account for the “x-factor”, their denial of the progressive nature of information theory as it manifests in all things, not just information technology and science. That information dynamic has always been there. They are just still ignoring that because it’s “occult.”
He was right about the Soviet Union and computer tablets. If anything, Kurzweil has been too conservative in some areas, too liberal in others. The idea of turning all of nature into a man made machine is misguided. Nature has been updating itself all along, including humanity. It’s just going to start doing it much faster.
