Cease Clinging

The truth put forth by any of the reputable sources have the power they do because they can be applied to experience. I have always said that religion should stop complaining about science and instead hold itself to the same standards. Not of mechanism, but of experiential reference.

Unfortunately, it seems the ‘reputable’ sources simplify everything, and people distort them. Simple isn’t necessarily simple. At times people accuse me of over complicating things, but in fact it isn’t posturing. I’m not trying to gain attention for me. The more ways I think of saying something, the more your mind will process it even if it’s totally confusing. The seeming nonsense can become very clear, like contemplating any paradox when you cease clinging to any one way. For clarities sake, many actually create confusion.

Abraham-Hicks goes around the country constantly saying the same thing over and over in different ways to different people. It isn’t speaking or logical thinking by itself that imparts real understanding. The state of center that comes after a long day of work, and the mind is busily humming so that you can’t “think” any specific thing, then the centering is found and you often wake with an insight that amazes you. Anyone experience this?

Look at Eckhart Tolle, how many books can be written about now? Every book ever written is about now. Time is false. I often hear criticism of my views because what I’m talking about doesn’t seem to be here now. The person sets a standard that they believe shows what’s here now, and they can often be rather belligerent about it. They seem quite confined and alone in the tower. I don’t like ivory towers. They should be composted. The calcium used as an additive to a nice mulch. My words are here now as are my thoughts, and even my fantasies. What can be done now and what can be used to do it, has shown itself to not really be a perfectly definable thing.

A tower could be considered a very tightly confined and defined field state. If we all live in thought bubbles, then ivory tower thinking is a straight jacket that distracts even from the padded cell. Beware the one who declares they are enlightened. If you are looking for enlightenment take your dog for a walk, or walk with someone who is aware they are walking with you. This is all the enlightenment I ever need.

Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
