Change has given us a lot of great things. Change has given us everything. A new human life is a whole lot of change. We get a new human form from material we can’t even really see. You cannot guide what you will not touch, and what you will not allow to touch you, and you are meant to guide.  We are a part of the big dance of the world, an endless spinning dervish dance, and when you find the center you will see “god”. You will see that it all made sense.

Putting off change is not any different than actually not facing it? Not really, it still happens. If you chose not to decide you still chose, and life goes on. You say “Oh, I’ll do it next week” and it never gets done. It’s done now or it’s not done now, and the next now will be the same.

There is a ‘readiness’ factor though isn’t there? Oh indeed, but readiness isn’t a decision. This is why people claim to fail. Scary news again, nobody fails. They did something. They always successfully do something.

Does it hit like a bullet though, because we weren’t paying attention? Yup, that’s still the issue, what was your focus? What were you thinking?

Or something caught us unawares? You were still involved on some level. You aren’t ever totally surprised. You maybe just didn’t believe. Change is what happens when you were busy planning something else, but change never escapes your awareness. You were busy being rational, and being rational is like bailing out a leaking boat, it only works for so long then eventually you just have to swim. You have to see, not think you see.

Even if you don’t know how to swim, you will learn fast if you know you might drown, or you will realize that in fact you were a fish. Or maybe a butterfly, and were just busy thinking you were human believing that you had to bail out the boat. We are all in the same boat, so is it any wonder it’s sinking? Why don’t we accept the boat community? There is a whole flotilla of boats, but no, we all have to have the one. I prefer my little dingy. I’m much more comfy there.

We don’t have to have the war ships, we can have sail boats? Indeed, we do have choice, there can be change. 

It’s a simple truth, in Chinese language the word for crisis and the word for opportunity are exactly the same word as are their words for heart and mind. What you are thinking is what you are feeling. Think of reasons to be afraid, and you will be afraid, and you will be right. I would rather fantasize, thank you very much.
