We think we choose who and what we connect with, and we really don’t. Just because some want us to believe that there are right and wrong choices, right and wrong to whom? Very true.
Some connections are fated to happen, I believe.
Fate is the assumption that fate can be assumed. That’s true, and to assume is to choose to accept. Otherwise, fate is a moot point.
Definition. To draw a line. To identify boundaries. How is definition possible? Is it true that definitions have to be either truths or lies?
Definitions are often what is suitable at the time or for a particular purpose. Indeed. Nothing is carved in stone. There is no stone to carve, but there is something in our experience that allows for the experience of individuality. There is no denying this, but how is it possible?
Choice. Choosing response? Echoes bouncing off of echoes.
Personal taste? What do you taste? Flavours that agree with you, or don’t agree.
Connection is not some abstract force, some philosophical concept. It’s the essence of reality. Connection is the micro seconds of silence that make one sound distinguishable from another. Connection is the isomorphic resonance between all the neurons in your brain that lets you know that an apple is not a hand grenade, then leads you to consider eating it.
There would be no earth without the connection of the materials for building the planet. Indeed. And a lot of connections are learned, aren’t they? Such as finding food?
Let’s talk about isomorphism for a moment. For everything we define, we create a mirroring definition. For everything we understand to be mine there has to be an equal measure of things that are not mine. For everything you think, there has to be an opinion that is excluded, or else you would not be capable of sentience.
This sounds like the reasons people give for lack of connection. And that is the big lie there. It is perhaps the biggest lie in the universe. That there can be such a thing as nothing. That there can be such a thing as the unreal.
You can make an opinion based on what you learn. Even if the opinion is I don’t know. Indeed, you can. And I am not saying that opinions are bad or that learning is wrong. Actually, the truth is the opposite. People don’t realize what they learn and learn without realizing. Perhaps this is why they say those who can’t do … teach.
Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
