Guilt From Prejudice

Is full anticipation possible even for a Buddha, or is it too big in total? Full anticipation is not possible even for a Buddha. The teachings of liberation are based on this.

Why do people feel guilt for not anticipating something? Guilt arises from prejudice. The remorse comes from a sense of self abnegation for having given ones attention to something static, dead, rather than alive and symbiotic to you.

If it lead to an injury for instance, the prejudice being that the injury would not have happened if something different was done? Yes.

Saying it could have happened to anyone doesn’t really help them feel better, but should it? It couldn’t have happened to anyone. It could have happened to that person and did. It’s not for lack of anticipation that it happened. We often spilt our attention between modes of thought, and our society can be quite coercive. Punitive, if we refuse to embrace conventional thought and behaviour patterns.

I can’t say that I can offer you the solution to all your experiences of anticipation and error, but the core practice can help you form a concrete base for discovering the answers for yourself.

If you open to the realization that your human awareness is not all there is, can’t you also open to the belief that you will get the right information you need for your interaction in all given actions? Yes. You can develop sympathetic connections, symbiotic relationships with aspects of the world around you, and they can assist your ability to anticipate things.

The action may mean run fast and far. It may be that, yes.

I’m trying to understand words. I don’t put words to my thinking very well. There can be understanding beyond words, but that comes with the hearing of words. My own facility is the product of my own disadvantages.

I hope this offered something useful. Till next time friends, keep your eye not on the ball, but on where it’s going and when you want to get there.

Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
