Hand in Change

Who is actually fascinated with their own minds? Because your mind is your world, and you are response able people. If you would have a hand in change then realize that what you have, and what you feel, is where you are at, and by that same power that you change your feelings and change your mind, you can change your world.

The layers of the mind run deep, but most don’t dig too far. They are mesmerized by the surface. Change makes you dig, because you made it happen. At least hopefully, or we die of the stress which many do. That’s why people tend to avoid the mind. They don’t really want to see, because it threatens ego. It threatens the idea of who you are. Actually here is a scary/funny thing for those who don’t like themselves, if they are the bad person that they can’t like, then their world makes sense. They base all of their experience on “I don’t like myself”. The person who says “I don’t like myself” is looking for an excuse to say “I hate you too”. It’s a dodge, and if they can confront that “I hate you too”, then they can see that they don’t hate that person, and really they can’t hate themselves either. That’s change, and it’s scary.

How about if I like myself, but I don’t like what I’m doing to it? Is this the same? Most people don’t really evaluate what they do. To be able to say “I don’t like what I do”, what makes them uneasy really? It is that something is going on in their life, and it’s making them see the fragility of their world view. That their role and their decisions weren’t centered, so they become acutely aware of being off center.

It’s the change that can do it? Yes, whatever you are doing you are doing. You don’t have to know that you don’t like what you are doing, you have to know why. You want to be centered. It’s a sort of spiritual, even physical instinct.  You know when your energy is balanced, and it isn’t balanced because it’s not moving. What happen if your blood stops moving?

I’ve been studying brain balancing lately, and the tendency for the system itself to try to reach for homeostasis. Yes, but homeostasis is a sustainable activity; the brain doesn’t want the heart to stop beating.

We can get stuck by not accepting change? The idea of preventing change, and keeping things the way they are is a lie you tell yourself. What you are saying is “I want to keep things the way I think they are”, and honestly you are saying that because in fact you are disturbed. You are upset. The world that you think exists is not upset, and when you want to prevent change it’s because you are hurting. So you are saying “I want to keep hurting”. If you say I want to go back to the way it was, you are denying the way it is, and the way it is now is the way it was then, but you weren’t paying attention. So wanting to go back to the way it was, is like saying I don’t want my blood to clot and close this wound, because I want to go back to when I wasn’t cut.

There are a lot of people bleeding to death. It’s resentment, and resentment makes us keep our wounds green. It isn’t tough, and it isn’t control.

I don’t want to be open to infection. But you are, when you insist on control you are open to the infection of anyone who tells you what you want to hear. Anyone who can tell you that it’s all exactly what you thought it was is very good at getting your cooperation, hence corporate corruption and cooked books. It’s what keeps the consensus what it is. It is why the change everyone pays lip service to doesn’t happen.

I get told I’m so nice, because I do what others ask. If I don’t, then I’m a bitch or they nag me. That isn’t nice. Those close to me can say I have done some of the nicest things for them when I did something they didn’t like. I didn’t arbitrarily choose something from my ideals, and try to force it on them. I saw instability and latent change, and I supported them into it.

What you are afraid of isn’t change. You aren’t afraid the world will change, you are afraid you can change it. Well, boo  You can. There is no being realistic, there is only being you. There is no being rational. What are you rationing and what happens if it runs out? It will run out, change happens.

Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
