What do your dreams seem like to you?
Fuzzy, indistinct.
Warnings.
Dreams are kind of like little TV shows, some stand out, some are forgotten. They are indeed much like stories, and nothing is ever completely forgotten. Some things are just diffused or generalized. They didn’t have enough of a center to stand out.
It’s weird when I get a deja vu during the day, and I realize I am remembering a dream. That is actually one moment of healthy thinking. We need more of them.
Your mind tries to reconcile any contradictions, but in the end whatever fits the inner story ultimately is believed, and the story is a dream. We are all dreaming constantly. Have you ever had a day without any emotion?
Emotions are dreams? Emotions are energy that stimulates dreaming.
Some days feel more numb than others. Ever have a period in your life where you got so numb that eventually you snapped? You do something insane just to break up the pattern? There is a reason for that. There is a reason numbness will make us snap, but what do we blame that on normally?
I need that panic attack to break the numb cycle. It’s a survival mechanism.
Impatience? Yes, impatience is one thing we blame it on.
I say it’s just my female hormones. It isn’t just your female hormones.
We blame the insanity on everything but the actual cause. Your survival instinct shows up in your dreams. Your natural instincts show up in your dreams. Your instinct to explore does also. Your need for play shows up there. What is generally present in our thinking?
Logistics. Planning, analysis, schemes, expectations. What do these do for us?
They wear us out. That they do. They leach away our daily energy very effectively. How well do they bring us what we desire?
They give us a goal to strive for. Actually, they don’t. We get our goal from somewhere else. When we are just thinking we think about even the most disturbing, insane and stupid things, do we not?
Worst case scenarios. And does our normal state of mind screen that stuff out at all?
It elaborates on it. Yes. We wind up carrying whole worlds on our shoulders. We all do this, but it does stop at least from time to time, but why?
If we are happy and enjoying, or we play. It will stop then, and it stops while we play.
And imagine? Yes. It stops whenever the inner mind asserts its influence. It stops when you want it to stop, but is that desire arrived at by thinking? Does it not seem like the heart has a mind of its own?
So worrying is stopped by play and creativity? It is indeed.
Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
