There’s this space you can get into where things go at super speed and you’re really there. It is similar to trance, full immersion, and it isn’t necessarily detached. In the martial arts they teach a sort of awareness of the moment, where you are totally immersed in the encounter. This is how you effectively apply the skills they teach to experience the great life force, the great ki or chi. In Taoism they speak of everything in life having its own way. A flow that transcends even the role of the participants. Like getting into a conversation and though you don’t know how, you say all the right things and they do to. Have you ever experienced this?
Sometimes, yes. It feels like magic. The practice of magic is based on this. It’s a quality of awareness. Immersion in what you are connecting with. You don’t “control” it. You become one with it. Your dynamic flows with the dynamic of the event.
It’s like an awareness of letting it go in a ‘natural flow’? Yes, but not disengagement. You do act, see, and respond.
It could be argued that the reason anything is subjective at all is because there is a spiritual element to life. We are aware of spirit in mind, but it transcends and we explore based on perception, feeling, intuition.
Drawing the target to your arrow? It sounds a bit like Law of Attraction? Yes, it is the law of attraction, but just more in the moment. Live your moments like that and … who knows?
Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
