What do you know about feng shui or divination? Only that it means some lady comes to your house and says you must put your bed in such a place, and you must never open a door while you close a window, blah blah blah.

Well, it’s more than that. It’s about energy flow. Even “ergonomics” and other “non-magickal’ disciplines focus on this. Geomancy just looks deeper into correspondences.

It seems to turn me off when they talk about “must” and “never.” Yes. They don’t usually try to help you understand why. They wouldn’t bother to tell you why in China, but in that case it’s because you already know. It is likely part of your religious background.

I’ve read that toilet position in a house is important since it does ‘flush’ away energies. Yes. This apartment I’m in has very bad feng-shui. I have done a few fixes, but very limited.

Our office is right above the landlords bathroom. I would say that is bad. We are getting all the bad energy maybe? Oh, above is fine. Below is bad.

I think ours is below their bedroom. Bellow their bedroom is fine also, though maybe not good for those with their bedroom above your office. Generally geomancy works like water though. Top down and center out.

Hmm, how should I sew buttons? 😛 Sew only the right color buttons. The right colour is what goes with the fabric. If it’s his work shirt, or brown, black, or red. In some cases, he just needs to change the shirt if that’s allowed. If it’s her work shirt, green, or yellow, or white/pearl. Blue is bad for business.

Why do people in court where blue if they are going to testify? Blue is good for court. Calm, clarity, honesty. Black and red are bad for court. They imply power/challenge to the courts power.

And colours that relate to holidays like green and red for Christmas? Green and red are adding “life” energy.

Red might resemble blood? To symbol sacrifice? And to symbolize feminine capacity for birth. Same thing of course, and most of us are conceived in the winter months. This is literal fact.

Cool earth makes us crave closeness I guess. Hmm, challenges our sense of being alive. Makes us aware of our raw spirit.

I could go on for hours on these by the way. And well… Any of the “magick” disciplines can go on forever in answers as well.
