Why don’t we see ourselves in the physical process of nature? Because humanity is a bit narcissistic requiring black and white models of everything in order for anything to be considered true. We still live in a world torn between mysticism and mechanism, and if you cling to either extreme, you can never arrive at the origin of all human experience in the first place.
From the mystical point of view, we are morally obligated to be good stewards of the earth, be good little Gaia worshippers and sacrifice virgins to volcanoes. I’m not trying to be insulting. I‘m just painting an extreme picture to underscore the point.
In the mechanistic model, everything is a resource and nothing is a tool. So you exist only as a force of nature like a black hole. Everything is just something to be eaten, and you are the eater only to be later eaten by something else yourself, and there is no reason to make any choices or learn anything.
Both extremes lead to the same end. Human extinction. In the one, you have the perfect mystics subordinating themselves to such a degree to nature and the Gods that they all sacrifice themselves in an inspired rapture. Christians actually believe this is going to happen and should. In the other degree, you have humanity acting like over glorified bacteria in a lab dish, reproducing and consuming until they kill themselves for having exhausted both themselves and their environment.
Mechanical is just the programmed robot. If we are morally programmed, why do we over use earths resources? And why does money even have to become a factor in earths gifts such as wood and fuel? Very good questions. I still think humans would be better if there was no money. I’m inclined to agree with the Australian bushmen in the movie, “The Gods Must Be Crazy“. They believe they receive the gift of a Coke bottle from on high, and they try to figure out what they are meant to do with this Coke bottle, until they eventually get fed up and try to return the gift to the Gods. The Gods were indeed crazy. They were also inbred and disease ridden. They called them nobles, and priests. They now call them scientists and corporate leaders.
Will money ever get phased out? It may indeed. Many sci-fi authors have explored scenarios of societies that function without money.
Is disaster arising out of this struggle between the two extremes (mystical vs. mechanistic)? That is the cause of disaster. The planet is not above breaking some eggs to make an omelette, but it doesn’t have a quota of deaths or any intention to kill at all. What it’s seeking to do is change the environment to disturb life enough to make it jump forward in its evolution.
Is disaster increasing now because of a heightened polarity among humans? Yes.
I think the same disaster would effect different parts of the world differently. So they are shaking us up and waking us up. Yes. We are not just meant to die. The earth doesn’t want any sacrifices. We are meant to learn and band together.
We’re making the earth psychotic? We are the earth as a psychotic. But yes, it’s now also spread to the animals and the elements as well.
When the teacher makes a loud sudden noise everyone stops and pays attention. Yes. This is the planetary “ahem!”.
Disaster is the manifestation of our polarity? Yes. How much we learn, and how easily… It depends on how well we overcome our preoccupation with making Gods or making ourselves into Gods.
Animals are waking up or trying to wake people up? Yes, exactly. Thus animals moving into human cities more and more, bears eating at subway, things like that.
They’re waking up or getting psychotic or perhaps that’s the same thing? They are in a sense the same thing. The waking up can take two forms, but we chose one.
Don’t make me flick the lights on and off. Oh, that is going on as well. We are seeing the lights being flicked on and off. The light being our sun. The flickering being the weird solar behaviour and magnetic spiking.
So the planet’s consciousness affects the sun? It does, and the planets consciousness is also affected by the sun, as is ours. In fact, recent neurology discoveries have found the eye has two purposes, not just one. It generates the data that lets us do the human behaviour we call seeing. It is a human behaviour, and it synchronizes all of our life functions with the day/night cycle of the planet.
They have found the biggest factor in human suicide, and it’s not what we consider normal psychological stress. The biggest factor in suicide is altitude. The mountains exist along what would be the equivalent of the joint in the earths ‘skull”, and there are huge electromagnetic fluctuations along those lines. This is how they detect earthquakes, or one way humans do, and it’s the way animals do.
Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
