Re-Defining Empowerment And Feminine Nature by Brooke Hart

Women today have a large task ahead of them. We are set on a gender identity that creates speculation of how we should act, dress or “be” in public. Of course, this changes depending on where you are in the world and what you are “expected” to do in a patriarchal society.

A shift in energy and consciousness has recognized that the expectations of society have to change, especially in terms of rights and definitions of gender. However, it also leaves women with the task of defining what this is. On one side, we have generational training of women that tells us about the gender identity, especially from our mothers, grandmothers and those that have developed patterns from specific experiences. Many of these characteristics are beginning to break. However, they are often breaking with a rebellion that moves into another extreme. On the other side, we have the societal beliefs that are surrounding us that state how and who women should be.

The solution to women defining their nature is through empowerment. This key alone is one that can help women to re-define their true feminine nature. This is one that is not held down by beliefs, patterns or the expectations in society. It is one that can only be reached by turning inwards and developing internal ideologies about who we are and what we are here to do.

Before we begin to jump into a women’s movement, the gay and lesbian marches or workplace fights, there is the need to become grounded in what it means to be a woman that stands in a divine nature. Our characteristics in this internal space may differ from any other individual. When we begin to look into this space, our patterns and definitions break. The things that we “think” have to do with our feminine nature quickly begin to slip away and disappear. When these are finally cleared out, we can truly define our true empowerment as a woman.

It is the empowerment that allows us to move into a step beyond with gender identity and who we are. Instead of the focus being related to our gender relationships, it shifts into what we are here to do. We can find a ground with being feminine in our physical, mental and emotional nature without attaching to the threat of definitions from society and the environment. More important, we have the ability to create something that is not subjected to a group, but instead to a higher group of beings of women, divine mothers, feminine goddesses and others that are waiting for us to move into our true identity.

The group consciousness of women is one that is continuing to awaken and open. To further remove difficulties within our lives, it becomes important to break out of gender identity, patterns, belief systems and generational attachments to other women. More important, is the need to begin examining what it means to be in a true, divine feminine nature and power that is connected to our higher being and which allows us to open to the true nature of women.
