Spirit Phenomenon

I’m thinking of an experience I had, and wondering if it was a haunting of some sort. I was doing a consult job and staying at a hotel. I brought a lot of work back to the hotel: calculator, medical records. I had everything on a table. Copious amounts of tape running from the calculator. I laid down on the bed, and I guess I fell asleep. It was very late. I heard the calculator running, tape moving to the floor. Then I felt the end of the bed sink in. I was thinking of my grandmother a lot and thought perhaps it was her spirit visiting. I felt a hand on my thigh and it was reassuring.

The calculator behaving that way may have been incidental to her presence. To manifest without issues, like the bleeding induced by the “mothman”, is a bit tricky and the energy required “stunned” your nervous system. This is a reason they don’t manifest usually. This was not an attack on your person, just unskilful. My own biological manifestation has left much to be desired, but that is neither here nor there.

I had the visitations a lot afterwards when I got home, but they were becoming frightening. I was unable to move when it happened, frozen, and it wasn’t reassuring anymore. I finally with all the strength I could muster (I was very afraid) finally shouted out, “Don’t come here anymore.” And since then, no visitations. Not a haunting, but a manifestation. Manifestation is a shift from the “death” state to this low level of energy. The haunting is sort of a energetic containment and restriction of the departed. It’s semi-involuntary. The newly dead still have a portion of their consciousness behaving like what they call the “subconscious” so they are not aware of why they are detained.

She has been dead for many years. Yes. Not haunting, and likely normally very involved in her affairs in that state of being.

There is a form of energetic entrainment that takes place between living beings not confined to those genetically related to each other. But in strongest evidence in those cases, this resonance remains for a time after the death of one of the individuals and is released in part by the psychic trauma of the grieving. But sometimes for reasons often unique to the bereaved or the deceased, this shift of energy does not take place.

Is that literally a broken heart? It is. This is why the Priestess of Nepthys in ancient Egypt was so highly sought. It was seen as necessary to send the departed on. Their priestly duty was to grieve the dead.

I have found the worst part of loosing someone was not being able to say goodbye to them. Yes, the energetic feedback loop is disrupted as is the normal process.

The closure of saying farewell helps a lot. It does, and helps both the bereaved and the deceased and often doesn’t happen in the case of murders or suicides.

Maybe that is why someone who dies in such a way seems to hang around? Yes, suicides often enter into a profoundly dissonant state well before discorporation. They are disoriented. There is normally a shift in state of the consciousness of the deceased, but this doesn’t always happen. Instead, some can enter what amounts to basically a schizophrenic state where they cannot tell the “spirit” world from the psychic signatures in their environment.

The living don’t break their tie to them, as well, when the death is a shock. Also true. This is why exorcisms can sometimes seem to work. The “haunt” likely subscribed to that faith while alive and the trauma of hearing those prayers makes them release.

This explains the importance of funerals to break the ties and help them depart. Why funereal rites have been so universal and so old as to be literally prehistoric. The latest research has since disproven the idea that any early human just left their dead with no response at all, and often an attachment to human remains (much like what elephants show the remains of their dead) is quite evident.

I remember something I felt in a funeral once. This was the funeral of a 16 year old girl. She was sick for a very long time and when the priest was saying a prayer for her to be accepted by God into heaven, the gathered ones started singing. I literally felt something lift me as if each voice was helping to guide her. It was very powerful. It tends to overcharge the bodies electromagnetic field which is a more common manifestation of the spirit world. It’s not a subjective experience so everyone there would have been involved even if they blocked it out.

I am not normally so easy in churches, but this one was very special. Rare few churches have what I call “spirit”, but I have been to some.

It’s what has changed my opinions about faith. The rapport that some achieve in acts of faith is quite viable for spiritual growth.

A funny thing happened to me earlier today. I heard a high pitched sound and the lights flickered twice even though there was no storm out. That electrical stuff happening in your home, do you experience a strange almost euphoria before, during or after? Likely just before. I suspect you might be a budding “psychic” for lack of a better term. Have had some measure of the strange electrical phenomenon in many places? It would likely show an escalating pattern.

No, only in the current residence, but it doesn’t seemed confined to one circuit. It acts up badly then settles again. Which would rule out it being systematic of the wiring perhaps. Also the settling wouldn’t really happen though it may have a different locus.

I hadn’t thought to correlate it with my moods. I’ll have to watch and see now. Do. It might prove informative.

Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
