Demonolatry
Demonolatry is the study of demons and their behaviour, more akin to naturalism, say bird watching, than any form of interaction with demons. Demonolatry is primarily Gnostic, seeking to understand the divine in the self, as well as reaching out to the divine in the world.
A demonolator seeks to cultivate a positive relationship with their demon, or set of demons, like a tribesman seeks to honour their totem so that has requirements of their conduct.
