Personality is the first sound of your first word spoken. It’s the first note of your personal song. If you start out in c sharp, then go to d flat, you influence how every sound coming after that affects you. Set a 2/4 time and notes that carry for a three beat count sound differently than they would in four four.

So you have a key, and it starts with a rest as it does for all of us. And you have a voice, be it alto or baritone, soprano or tenor, its harmony starts with that inner breath. Are you breathing?

Sometimes I have to remind myself. It can be an important practice. Your breath, your eyes, your heart beat, your ears, they are all moving in harmony or discord with your inner song.

Now, we have thoughts, ideas. We have trained ourselves to embrace some terrible judgements about self and by extension the world we live in, and holding these feelings hurts, produces resistance. We don’t at our core want to believe the world is evil. We don’t at our core want to hate ourselves. This is all learned.

Is this how we get so out of touch with ourselves? We get out of touch with ourselves when we become authority junkies. We seek a surrogate creator to replace the one we are supposed to be. It can be scary having to be alive and feel the world in your heart. Reality is alive and vibrant and breathing.

I’m reminded of a song from Sunday school as a kid. “This little light of mine, I’m going to let it shine.” The light is our personality? Yes, exactly. It’s also like the electrical signal of a neuron. What do we say when there are no signals in a brain?

Dead? Yes. All the patterns are still there, that big tree of cells is still there, and the cells themselves may even still be alive.

Just no energy to connect the paths? And that energy of connection is what we need. It’s our spiritual life blood.

A vegetable. Do vegetables have personality? Vegetables do have personality, yes. Everything does have personality. It’s what causes the collapse of indeterminate states of matter and energy. The observer effect is the skeleton of the entire universe. What is an observer?

A personality? Yes. Why things are this way and not that, and why seemingly contradictory things can be equally true. There is no single end state for all things. There are only personalities.

So that’s why photons act like particles when you watch them, but waves when you don’t. Yes.

The phantom overlord doesn’t reward, doesn’t punish either, because there is no single personality that is in a position to do any such thing. Life will have its way, and all ways are its way. Life looks at you and says “mine!”

Do angels and other higher beings fit into this as well? They do indeed.
