Shall we see the introverted suits in Tarot?
The Ace of Pentacles. This symbol represents the nest, home, coins, cowry shells, wampum, gathered food, physical roots.
The directions N S E W. Yes. It represents the earth and is connected to the earth element. Ultimately, this suit is the nesting instinct and all the feelings and instincts we have regarding home. It is introverted, as introverts are often home bodies.
So money and home are connected in the female mind? Yes, and are so in pretty much all world cultures. But this is also the suit of the loyal husband, which shows up as the King of Coins. Yes, there is also a Queen of Coins, and a Page and Knight. Four people for each suit.
The king and queen represent the order and stability of the suit. The knight and page represent the action, both proactive and reactive, of the suit. A reactive intellectual would be the page of swords. A fad chasing teenage girl would be the page of coins.
All suits have a positive and negative manifestation.
The Ace of Cups. Where the suit of pentacles (coins) represents acquisition and stability, the suit of cups represents reflection and preservation or holding. It’s the element of water or emotion, and well, what is reflection or introspection other than considering how we feel about our experiences?
This suit is also introverted, as reflectiveness is in general, and feminine. As deep as guys can be, reflection is still something women do better than men, usually. Though that statement, like any gender related statement, is a generality. Useful, but not necessarily an absolute truth.
Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
