Want to be true both to yourself and to your friends and loved ones? Maybe even to the world that ultimately gave you life?

Indeed, so. Then we need to stop trying to defy the laws of nature, the laws of physics. Experience the self instead of pretending to be the self, and we do that by being willing to fully experience the self, fully immerse ourselves in the sensations, feelings and organic behaviours that emerge as we continue to live as organic beings rather than putting some hypothetical inorganic model ahead of everything else. Even hard core atheistic materialists do this either indirectly with the notion of progress and the future world it might maybe give us, or even the trans-humanist movement putting aside human nature and the human condition all together to be “free” of the natural world that they hate so much. The world is aware of this hate. We have some new and interesting bacteria and viruses emerging in our environment because of it and they aren’t necessarily for us. New symbionts evolve just as often as parasites, and they will continue to discover that evolution can take place very quickly even if you are still enamoured of natural selection. Lobster are eating their own kind now, and other new and interesting behaviours are emerging. Survival will happen, as much as many seem nihilistically enamoured of the idea of total extinction.

So was anything left unclear? Meditation can help you get in touch with where you are in your song, in your personal harmonic state. Did it seem practical? I always hope for practical.

I recommend you give your fidelity, your focus, to your own song, your own experience, and to paraphrase Shakespeare… if you do, even if you never speak to another person, which is highly unlikely, just those who witness you, well… You will ring true. You will present an experience that will affect and change them even without effort on your part even if just a little bit.

And it shall follow as the night the day. . . thou canst then not be false to any man . . . (or woman, either).

The world is whole and in order, as full of noise as it currently is also. I think we can get things sorted out.
