Today, we are going to talk about relaxation. Does everyone know what relaxation is?
Is that the state of perfect balance? Well, balance is always inherently perfect, as far as that goes.
I think I do. But then when I feel it, I realize I didn’t know before.
Relaxation is perhaps one of the core traits of wisdom. This is why we are often uncomfortable when someone seems to have “a stick up their butt.” Something tells us their judgement is impaired, and that instinct is correct.
Relaxation is the door to all internal wisdom as relaxation is embracing the state of equilibrium that it is our physical and mental natures to seek anyway, and without relaxation no internal perception can be had with any clarity. If you can’t relax, you can’t honestly know what you are feeling, let alone share it with anyone else, and the monster at the door to relaxation is “internal conflict.”
Maybe that is why doctors like to have you lie down when you talk to them. That’s a big part of it, but they won’t do that if they learn that it makes you defensive.
I’ve noticed doctors will get me talking and then when I’m involved in talking they’ll do an examination of some kind. I’ve called him on the technique and he just smiled. Funny thing, even if you call him on it, he will still do it because it will still work. It’s why, despite anything else you prefer to believe, your body and mind will always seek to “let your guard down.” Refusal to do this makes people seem as crazy as they often do.
Your whole being seeks relaxation, not because it wants to stop/die, but because it wants to throw off abnormal patterns and ideas, artificial toxic tensions. This is a normal healing drive that allows your body and mind, no matter how messed up they are, to “reset.” So, anyone tense?
Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
