I thought rights were just the stuff of fairy tails,
Meant for war torn souls but not for me,
I was such a cynic,
That’s the way it seems,
Violations haunted all my dreams
But the human race,
Can be a believer,
It has a place,
I’ve no doubt in my mind,
But it must love
It can be a believer,
But it can be a diva,
I tell no lie.
I thought folk were more or less, bullshitting me,
That their claims to care were just skin deep,
Why do they all bother,
To try to lie to me?
What alterior motive could there be?
But the human race,
Can be a believer,
It has a place,
No doubt in my mind,
But it must love,
It can be a believer,
But It can be a diva,
Tell no lie.
Many cultures out there,
Broader than our dreams,
Stop the fighting in your family teams.
Because the human race,
Can be a believer,
It has a place,
No doubt in my mind,
But it must love,
It can be a believer,
But it can be a diva,
Tell no lie.
Because the human race,
Can be a believer,
It has a place,
No doubt in my mind,
But it must love,
It can be a believer,
But it can be a diva,
Tell no lie.
