You say we don’t dictate the content of our dreams. I do feel as though it is possible to steer our personal dreams and allow them to take shape. My question is: How do we influence the world dream? You have the same ability of self will in dream as you do in the waking world. You can choose your actions, but you can’t just arbitrarily break the continuity of the natural world around you. The beings of the world dream think and perceive according to the continuity set up not by any single being in the material earth, but draw their own consciousness and essence from a complex mix of many other beings. One of the fae is as much the product of a wolf’s dream as it is of your own, and it is a fabrication ultimately of neither. The butterfly dream and the little girl dream blend to make a whole greater than the individual parts, and they “dream” us as well.
Do animals see different realities than we do? They see different angles of reality than we do. Reality follows a hyper geometry rather than a linear or Euclidean geometry, so there is much more “space” than we actually see, both in the material world and the world dream.
I was thinking about light spectrum. Ah, and light does behave differently as it moves through different planes in our world, yes. There are whole unseen aspects to the light reflected world, sound also.
So the fae are alien in a sense. Because they have no linear ancestry, they ultimately behave like nothing we commonly understand. Justice and fairness to them may seem like insanity to us.
Are they like angels? Perhaps much more terrestrial, but yes, they are complex beings. We influence the world dream in every witnessed act we express, and can you think of any act you do that is witnessed by literally no one?
Either immediately or after the fact, it’s all witnessed. I suppose even critters hear water in the pipes when I wash. Yes, that spider hears a roaring chaos periodically. The fly saw you do it, the birds singing in the trees saw you walk by, the grass smelled what you denied doing, and the fish heard every word you muttered to yourself in their amplified environment.
Animals tend to dream more than humans do. Because animals dream more frequently than humans do, the fae appear more animalistic than they do human, even more plant like than human, but they partake in our consciousness as well. To varying degrees, they draw life from our feelings and the imagination they inspire, and they take their guidance not from our preference, but our expectations, those things that we deep down inside really believe to be the truth though we wish they weren’t.
Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
