Life direction seems to be a growing concern, and it seems conventional values exasperate the situation rather than help it. Do you agree?

The internet has blessed us with information and cursed us with better informed opposing opinions. Making the struggle the same, but more worldly. But the internet has given us too much information, with less idea of which is accurate and which is not. This pushes us away from original guidance if we permit it. The more you learn, the less you know.

The people responsible are now changing based on the changes they made, but thinking isn’t keeping up. The instance of mental illness is on the rise. Not based on culture, but world wide. Certain educational issues are cropping up making the effort much more complex. We are encouraged to think, but given restricted material to think on. We are supposed to be wise as long as it’s conventional wisdom.

Medical research supports that a failure of the body to maintain hormonal balance is abnormal. There is an internal regulatory factor. One cannot disallow the contribution of modern medicine, but its place is not primary. It has taken a toxic level of control. Some of what is supposedly modern really had its roots much earlier. Behaviour therapy? Ritual? What is the difference other than belief? Is lack of belief better? How do we find direction without belief? This struggle for direction of self, and often others, has been going on for a very long time.

There is a way. There is a collective whether you speculate as to the contribution of DNA to memory, or the massive communication network. It is a natural common ground and it’s running out of control. It has become parasitical. We must be aware of our part in that global atmosphere.
