This society was based on the “muscle” part of society, not the sensitive ones. But we aren’t at the whim of nature any more, so natural tendencies tend to get warped. What made perfect sense to nature becomes a drawback in “technological” society. Standards of behaviour are based on assumptions that preclude what comes naturally for some of us, but we are human and we are the intellectual equals of others. The tendency can be repurposed. Made to serve even in this context. Human nature is changing and it is making the “throwback” features stand out more. We are all changing despite our genetic background. In herd animals the sensitive tends to be a gamma, a non breeder. This isn’t true of humans. There is a difference in humans and it is making a difference in human nature in general. A variety of factors both biological, psychological, and environmental are making total human nature change and more cooperation is necessary. We as a species can’t afford to still put parts of our consciousness out of the way.

Must we undo our own self constructs before we can get past those of others? No and really can’t. It isn’t about undoing them, but knowing them better for what they are and transcending them. Own them and use them rather than them dictating us and make conscious decisions. Letting those constructs evolve in the light of meditative observation rather than just being a conglomerate of a bunch of tacked on opinions. It is possible to see something more than even personal reality and the consensus reality. But when you see it, it doesn’t make the others go away. It’s like the wires and pipes in your walls. You can see clearly why all of this comes together at all.

The mind creates virtuality, the online world of Second Life is a natural outgrowth. It is a truth of human nature not just some human cleverness to entertain us. The tao that can be spoke of is not the eternal tao, but the tao is there. We create our realities out of something that does transcend us. Thus my point earlier, the need for greater responsibility and clearer awareness.

In Second Life the imagination is on purpose so it’s put out of the way. In real life the imagination gets mislabelled and given deep credence and used to justify incredible horror. The consensus has become a real nightmare. Can we challenge it? Will this beast of many horns which symbolize minds, destroy us? War? Industrial destruction of eco systems? Capitalism seen as ethics? Really insane.

Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
