I thought I would ask a simple question. Where are you? Can you be grounded and not know the ground you stand on? So anyone, where are you?
Here. Where is here?
Everywhere. Where is everywhere? Inside you, as is every when.
How can I be inside me, if me is inside me? Because you do not know who you are, but that is another class.
On a chair, somewhere neither here nor there. We are all in a chair, but where is your chair? How many where’s are chairs?
Many? None. Because is it not so that what serves as a seat is largely dependant on what you decide is a seat? So if anything can be a seat, how do you define seat?
Whatever is not pointy? For some, pointy isn’t a deal breaker. Indian yogis and such, and people think them very enlightened.
I’m reminded of a line from Naked Gun, “The truth hurts doesn’t it? Sure, maybe not as much as jumping on a bicycle with the seat missing, but it still hurts!” The truth never hurts, but the point is valid. The reason I say the truth never hurts is because where will you find truth? Can someone point me to the truth? Where might I find it?
Under the rug? Yes, and then only because I am standing on it.
Sometimes I have found a lot of truth from this seat, in this arena, in this virtual space and this computer. You found it within yourself, my friend. Because had you not the eyes to see it, it would have not entered your life. The most profound truth told to the most ignorant mind is the biggest lie. It’s like hitting someone standing on the edge of a roof with a wind machine on full power. The power is there, but the truth cannot be.
In that situation, you use little lies. Coax the person away with things they will believe. Then you hit them with the truth which makes them realize they were going to waste their life. Humanity deals in lies. The father of lies is the child of man, but there are deeper mysteries than this. One being that every lie is told in the context of the truth, and cannot exist outside of the truth. So where is there any lie?
Does subjectivity have anything to do with it? Subjectivity does. Subjectivity in its purist sense is knowing where you are. Because when it comes to objectivity, what does “You are here.” on one of those maps mean anyway?
Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
