World In Stillness

We all are familiar with at least some stories of famous mystics, shamans, sages, of one form or another. At the very least, we have all heard some fairy tales.

They are marked by something other than their great spiritual power. As amazing as they were, they were equally mysterious. They were mysterious because unlike the so called common people, they are all possessed of an equal need to withdraw. A powerful need to rest, which lead their people to speculate about where they go in their minds, their bodies, or both. People couldn’t fathom what would give them not only the drive to remove themselves from humanity, but the confidence to do so.

There is a world in the stillness. It’s the world beyond the horizon. It’s infinitely far away because it comes before all the thousand things in the world, and stretches beyond any single space and time.

Did people not think idle hands left you open to evil? They didn’t trust anyone that wanted rest. They did. This is why the wise ones would later come to be called witches and warlocks.

I remember a story of a woman with incurable cancer. As a last resort she went into retreat, alone, and emerged cured. From the stillness all things arise in their perfected forms. What causes things to degrade is an accumulated static. Noise kills.

Would not free radicals also be something like static noise? They indeed would be, just noise at the matter level.

But the stillness… People fear it. They think it is death. First, there is no death. Second, in the stillness there isn’t a lack of form. There is perfect form, perfect clarity. This is why ancient elders sought to go into the stillness. The forms of the ancestors are not lost. They are perfected as is their wisdom.

The stillness is pretty much the same as what science calls the zero point field. What would a sound that is too loud to be heard seem like to us? What would light that is too bright to see look like?

The sound that cannot be heard is silence. The light that goes beyond blinding is lightless peace. All other things are less than stillness. If I took your body and accelerated it so quickly that it could not be located at any one place at this time, yet you retained the mind to know and the eyes to see, what world would you see?

You’d see everything that you wanted to see? You would see beyond everything. You would see the root of all things.

Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
