Absolutist thinking is a vicious falsehood, creates only confusion.

Control in Brains

Glitch Moment

If I could give you everything, right now, literally everything, would you want it? What would you do with it? Where would you put it?

Keep it in my pocket. How would you keep me from taking any of it? How would you keep me from taking all of it? It’s an awfully heavy burden.

You can borrow it with interest. How would you get anything back in return?

Send the goons after ya. Goons. You have to understand that some things are goons, people, and that they behave in a specific way. You would have to understand that was useful to you. In the end, anything you could have or own comes back to you. It is what it is to you.

Ultimately, what you want is not things. You at least subconsciously understand you can’t control things. You can’t keep track of or keep on top of everything that might happen with all the things. What you really want is self control. What you might have instead is thing control. You can have one or the other. Anything you control beyond you controls you. Your car controls you. Your house controls you. Big chunks of your time and behaviour are taken up by these things.

It sure felt that way when I was cleaning. In your day of thing control, controlling all the things that are yours to control, where was there any time for you?

I have to admit I am a bit spoiled. Everything I have I can and do share freely with my wife. Should she have a need or desire, this is liberating. Instead of controlling things, I get to have interaction with her. I get to share experiences with her.

But unfortunately, I am forced to live in a physical world. I can’t wait to upload my consciousness into the matrix. You don’t live in a physical world now. You live in a social world. You live in a psychological world. The physical world as it literally is dictates very little to you. Is this unreasonable to say?

It dictates I need to brush my teeth or they will fall out. Actually, there are dental care alternatives. Diet change influences that, and there are other practices that can control that. Even using an old fashion tooth rag has some impact on that problem.

Then I would have to work to make money to buy those dental alternatives. You have to work to make money because you live in a social world. Some people think their way around that. We either become their biggest fans or their biggest critics, but it is still possible.

Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
