Fear And Love

Fear and love are complementary opposites? Love and fear are complimentary facets of the same crystal.

The important realization is that your mind doesn’t really have parts. It’s your thinking that creates the appearance of separateness. Like really clear quartz you can see through, the front of the stone is not the back. The angle of the stone changes what it’s like to look through it, but it’s still the same stone.

So the seamlessness of the mind is what you mean by the same crystal? Yes. The mind is holographic. The image is actually the same, but looks radically different when different regions become triggered, and is almost incomprehensible when taken only in pieces.

So remember, life is like a box of chocolates? Life is like a box of chocolates. You know you are going to get chocolates, but you don’t know what flavour this one will be, because it didn’t come with a guide. And that statement is a half truth. It actually did come with a guide born in your very essence, but the guide has been all marked up with color crayons and nervous grownup doodles while you were busy thinking about something else.

When we are little, our experiences color our awareness of self. Generally, in a very strange fashion, as it was a struggle between your spirit and mommy /daddy influences. Two hands trying to dictate the marks of one crayon. This works how well?

The reason fear comes to gobble up so much of our intellect is the inner spirit eventually gives up, by agreement, literally. It plugs into consensus reality, and fears serve as the footnotes of consensus reality. Without fears, as they are currently defined, the agreement makes almost no sense. And without fears, the mocking constructs that come to substitute for our loves lose any meaning as well.

It’s idealistic, but consensus reality could be based on love. Oh, indeed. We could forge a new agreement. This is part of the reason I do what I do. In order to avoid pointless intellectual lawyer speak and selfish moralising, we do have to face our fear to realize that what we actually love is each other.

Eia no ke aloha pono. Here then is the aloha pono. Pono = in the right direction, use, intention, righteous, correct. Aloha = love and our many meanings thereof. Eia is a placing word as in eia is like immediacy of the moment. This is as deep a reflection of that spirit as I can imagine.

A parting thought from me. Your fear is like owning a cat. Make sudden loud noises and it will hiss and spit and arch its back. But give it peace and it will calm back down again. But above all else, change its litter box. It’s the stink of thoughts that are defined by values that have nothing to do with your inner spirit, that has made it so unhealthy. Choose new focuses and life grows much stronger.

Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
