Decisions, right decisions, wrong decisions. You will find countless people or authorities that pose as the authority on this judgement, but you will find no one single being or object that is the embodiment of the world intelligence. The only way to experience it is in your own self.
What would happen if you gave everything up? Disowned everything, disowned every thought and philosophy, what then?
Then they would be free? Actually, they would free being.
Chaos? There would be chaos? Structure of society would stop initially, but then change.
The need for recognition would stop being so important.
When you free “being” a strange thing happens. Nothing disappears and everything is quiet for a moment. It would let the world listen and maybe clear its head. But then you would begin to see the artificial world from the other side. You would see why the systems of politics and religion, philosophy, art, and science, all exist, and you would see to what degree they have become distorted. When you gave all that up, you didn’t lose it. It’s your first chance to own it. Before that, it owned you.
Seen from the other side, your decision making will change, nothing will be real other than what lives, and you will see clearly that the world itself lives, and because it lives it changes. You will see how you are a part of that. You will make choices that reflect your own being rather than only your doing of any given moment, because it’s your being that is actual and supposed to actualize. Stated more simple, you act from being rather than be from acting.
What does it mean if you suddenly want to stop making choices for yourself? Perhaps it means you want the being state, but I warn you, be not misinformed, it won’t let you stop doing things.
It feels draining to make a choice hastily. It is a form of resistance to make a decision before it’s time, and that timing, that rhythm, is set up by the world intelligence. It’s that pulse you feel in communities. What you feel more clearly in the living wood or under an open sky. Human communities haven’t lost their connection to the pulse, they just create a sort of hypertension.
“Time is everything.” I think is what the more successful will say. Timing is everything. Time as a quantity is non-existent. It’s a quality of things, and has a purpose in that context. But if you are counting calendar days, you have lost a proper sense of its meaning.
It’s about having a sense of things, activities, moods, etc. Yes.
You can’t exclude self and preserve truth. You can’t exclude the world and preserve truth. You can’t substitute an ideal and preserve truth, but it is all there to see, in moments.
Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
