Well, perhaps an alternative. Take all these ideas with a grain of salt if that is what seems appropriate, but imagine a movement of individuals who all fully understand and have a handle on their desire force. Each deliberately designs their own desire in such a way as to support the intention expressed by their shared vision, acting not as a dream with some followers, but as a lens with full forces of nature focused behind it.
So, having a “commons” (like a public park) where everyone agrees, but also having individual spaces for each one to express his/her own preferences/desires? Well, any creation with any genuine potential to last must incorporate not just a single abstract idea that someone had the insight to dredge up from life experience. It must include the full life energy of those lives it would shape.
So all cooperative and none counter-productive? But then are we seeking to control purple magick again? Co-operative. Control purple magick as individuals. Can a house be built if only one worker has tools? If I give Joe tools to build a house, and point him at a patch of land, will that house get built?
We would channel it fully? Yes.
Letting purple magick express itself through individuals in private space while having public space for the collective? Yes, voluntary contribution of desire.
I don’t mean to denigrate anyone’s efforts in any field. In fact, quite the opposite. Right now in the world, everyone’s potential contribution is being minimized. Everyone locked into fixed roles, job titles. How is that working for us? If the burger flipper has a promotional idea, how well will that go over? The parts of the machine are rather viciously kept in their place.
I would not want an auto mechanic operation on my brain. All I was attempting to model previously was working with the “machine” nature gives us. Rather than trying to convince ourselves we can’t trust it, that we can know better than the process that allows us to know anything at all. If the auto mechanic had freedom to pursue all the understanding that brain surgeon did, would you then refuse? Does the auto mechanic now have free access to the means to become a brain surgeon?
Well, that is purple magick in the nut shell. Perhaps not of interest to everyone, not something everyone wants to know about or participate in.
Does purple magick have any “choice” of its own apart from individuals steering it? Ah, purple magick does have choice of its own in a sense. It does have rules. You cannot break the will to live. You cannot break hope. You might convince yourself that these mean nothing to you, or that they have been broken in you, but they operate around you as well, and will act on you as much as being acted on by you.
There is one ultimate rule underlying all purple magick. Everyone familiar with the movie “Jurassic Park“? Life will find a way, always finds a way, either through you or around you doesn’t matter in the big picture, but if you want to participate in it…
The monsters always get out. Yes, desire always gets out. If you want to participate in purple magick, ask yourself not only what do you want, but what do other people want. What does your town as its own being want? What do the land and sky want? These are all forces participating in purple magick. Does this sound farcical?
With that knowledge in hand, purple magick becomes simple. It’s just the art of diplomacy practiced on an all-inclusive scale and finding the win win scenario.
This is a part of a series, so any preference for the next magick color?
Yellow. The magick of intellect, can do. Till next time friends, be your desire, don’t have your place taken by your desires, and be well.
Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
