Ground in spirit. An interesting paradox in a way. People think of grounding in the material sense. Yes, and do they know where they are and where they are going? Anyone have a clue how to fix the economy?
No. They’re lamenting they don’t know themselves. This is because they are busy being realistic.
I like how they show the “superhero” as wanting to hide their powers or even seeing them as a burden. It’s actually realistic that they do that. To those who live in spirit, they are just living. Just are who they are, and they struggle with other peoples limitations.
If they fail, then people will see that and get angry. And they will blame that failure on what they think is the obvious. They will blame the failure on what they see, which is nothing more than how they see.
Anyone see the movie “Hancock”? Consider a world where some parts of humanity have godlike powers. A small group, even immortality, but they live in the same world everyone else does and live as the non-god like do. What could we expect of them? To be paragons of our ideals? Those ideas we made up? To be able to solve all our problems permanently while we busily make them? How much power would make the world perfect?
In the movie, he saves a life and then gets hassled because he damaged his car. Yes, and he blows off playing the super hero role because he can’t hack dealing with the emotional hurt. He even goes so far as the drink himself into a stupor. What if God was one of us? Would God be loved if he or she fixed everything?
I do not love it when people fix things for me all the time. It makes me feel helpless. Because here is the problem. Perfect for one person is hell for another, and even that state of perfect for the first person will not remain so. The higher powers have been amazingly generous to us. The spirits that live along side us have been nothing short of Saints in dealing with our activities. They put life first. Life and love are the same, and they are the one bottom line. What about humans? People speak of falling in love, loving life, falling out of love, this is true how? These seem to be states of being or places you can go. Anyone found the state of love? Anyone know where you are?
There is no state of love to get to, nor can you leave it. The only way you can know where you are going is to first figure out where you are. You know where you are when you can accept where you are completely.
Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
