This attempt to see mind from a biological point of view is weak at best.
There is a love beyond human limits. It is the peace that allows balance in the planets eco-systems. It’s the rhythms that perpetuate life on this world despite some species being so determinedly self destructive. It is our nature which we so often ignore because “I” is afraid. Afraid for themselves and for their extended selves as they think of them.
Many enter a partnership and don’t really look at their partner. Their partner just becomes part of their identity. They are someone’s husband or wife, boyfriend or girlfriend. So this fear is corrosive if it’s permitted to be. Fear as people foster it is destructive.
When people speak of fear, they do not speak of instinct. In my meditations I reground in my instincts. The body and mind are one. Many who seek to meditate try to stifle natural rhythms. I don’t see this as useful myself. The heart beats and the body is aware. It is part of your total awareness if you let it be. On that level there is no fear of failure. There is no fear of shame. These are not instinctive and there is guidance. We do bond, with a partner, with a child. Then our normal mind gets all involved and warps this into a psychotic nonsense.
Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
