Reality Behind Astrological Influences

The conditions that allowed for the formation of DNA on our planet were set up by the effects of our planet passing through the tracks of space it did and still does, and our evolution has had a few almost complete restarts to boot. So the rhythm of DNA formation was set up well before humanity even came into being.

Our world gave rise to all life in this ocean of electrical energy. Each time new combinations of DNA occurring for reasons some would say were random. Well, I myself do not believe in the random. It’s a concept that some hold to justify strictly arbitrary judgements. It lets them avoid looking carefully at what things mean.

Well, our bodies have evolved with a built in sensitivity to what gave structure to the DNA in the first place, but we do not recognize the stimuli involved because they have to be filtered, translated into the language of the sense organs, even if the stimuli itself is a bad match for them. A sort of complex synesthesia that has no “ordinary” input to start from, but yet we still do perceive it even in this day and age of rational materialism.

What we view as randomness is actually tapping into this perception? This is why it’s really impossible to be statistically random on purpose? Exactly.

We don’t need calendars to track the seasons. We create calendars as a form of artistic expression and convince ourselves they have a rational basis. The calendar exists only to express ideas about what we sense on a subconscious level.

As the seasons shift we perceive subtle changes in mood and imagining. More “night” imagery as winter draws near. More erotic imagery as winter draws to a close. Your dreams have seasons as do your moods, and what mood you experience in what season is reflected by where you were born in the cycle. Since our behavior is emotionally driven, then these astral/starry/heavenly cycles do have a real impact on events.

It makes sense that Valentines is at the end of winter when people are stuck inside and have nothing better to do, and why so many babies are born in the autumn. Yes. I was born in the summer.

But let’s take it away from the strictly metaphysical for a bit. People perceive the passing of the seasons and have marked the seasons with communal and cultural events. These observances of the passing of the year create a memetic base that you become impressed with, and I mean impressed in the neurological sense. Your neural system can be and is recorded on. Basically, the spirit or the mood of the seasons becomes a sort of meta-family. It forms a series of characters in your psychological experience, and these still get linked back to astrological observations like phase of the moon.

What I am getting at is there is a reality behind the influences we typically see as astrological. Which matters more, the exact experience or the mechanism? I say the painter doesn’t have to know the physics behind applying their paint to a canvas. They know what they feel and observe.

Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.
