Right to Die

People seem to think a lot is a ‘God given right’, and of the craziest things instead of being privileges. It is our God given right to die, want to? In the state I lived in, it’s even legal with the proper paperwork. The death with dignity act. We don’t have a lot of takers.

You’re lucky. Most don’t have the right to die. That is crazy isn’t it? Well, they will help us die anyway, just more slowly. Cancer and such from acid rain and petro chemical pollution. That’s more dignified. I will be proud to die from huffing the oil men’s profit margin. What about you folk?

Death is death? Well no, death is a cycle and like all cycles it can be deranged. Would you want your style of death to be passed to your children? If death is death should we all die of anthrax? Or perhaps death in its proper place is the other side of life.

I’ve heard that death is life’s way of telling you “you’re fired!” Death is life’s way of telling you, you can retire now. If you lived well, you can retire in peace.

I hope there’s a severance package. There is, it’s called karma. What you put in you get back. Even if you acknowledge no spiritual reality, your memory lives on.

Maybe karmic accumulation is non-linear though? It is non linear. Time as we know it doesn’t exist. All “bad karma” can be cleared up in an instant, all good karma also relieved. You can in any moment cease being reactionary.

Your thoughts are welcome. Be well friends.

We die when it is our time to go. Those that wish to end their life serve as as a tool to inspire others. Tragedies, while they may seem to be misunderstood, happen because they need to happen.
