The darkness of those who lie, like married men who don’t say they’re married. That is bad. Infidelity. Cheating on a partner.

Is sex in the virtual world of Second Life with someone married infidelity? To my view, yes it is.  But there are other ways to cheat, and not with sex. The intention is what makes it cheating. An unfaithful heart matters more than sexual indiscretion.

I’ve talked with ladies in loveless marriages. His heart has gone elsewhere. The issue of a loveless relationship is infidelity also. In loveless relationships some growths go in different directions, thus they’re not sharing. If you consider your partner a static thing you don’t keep up to date. Career stuff for instance, if you outstrip your partner you leave him in the dust so to speak. Commonalities begin to fray, or perceived commonalities, because much has to do with awareness. It is possible to understand that lives go elsewhere, but most just crash and repeat. So when does it become darkness? When a couple begins to know that it is. In nature, pair bonds can stay together because of better survival. Some species are monogamous.

Our species is serial monogamous. We stay monogamous long enough for offspring to reach a point where they can stay alive on their own. The rest is just a result of social constructs, and maybe a bit of individual will? I think individual will is downplayed too much, and people often fail to recognize when they willed a thing to happen. People often are inadequately reflective especially when it comes to “dark things”, and put themselves into loops of dramatization because they don’t see that they actually do have a choice.

People don’t know alchemical transmutation. Essentially taking dark and making it light, or one property and affecting it to transform into another property. Alchemy teaches that two states, though they appear as opposites, are two degrees of the same thing. Like, when does warm become cold? It’s a matter of perception, no specific degree, and it’s all one thing: temperature. All things diverging from the prima materia, or the first mass of big bang theory.
