Do animals have their own parallel paths or are they on another part of our path, or both? Animals have their own path, but just as the paths that run across the earth itself have no real distinction from each other, animals paths both parallel and mesh with human paths forming a tapestry. We very likely have understudies evolving right now in the environment should we be unable to continue keeping a suitable place in our world. We could be argued to have been the same for earlier hominid species.

Everyone familiar with the concept of evolution following a punctuated equilibrium? It’s been observed that life as a whole on the planet tends to remain unchanged for very long periods of time, like a single unified organism at rest. But then something happens and no single organism changes, they all do, and relatively quickly. Evolution and perhaps of more interest, advancement of consciousness happens in whole steps like a quantum phenomenon.

The extended bodies or web of sympathy around animal species sort of forms a pattern of shells, and like a hermit crab moving from one shell to another, the energy of a living being advances along these shells. Often only after transference, but it can happen while in their original form as well. The bigger shell or layer incorporates the smaller layer.

Is it possible that we’re finding theory of mind in more and more species, not only because our awareness is opening up, but that it is emerging more and more in animals? Yes, indeed. Both things are happening.

The world has a sleep cycle. That is all punctuated equilibrium is, a long planetary nap. But just as we act with more animation and communication when we wake up, so will life on this planet behave when the planet wakes up as a whole. Hopefully, the communication won’t be a lot of spiteful cross talk tainted with speciesism, and I don’t mean literal talking, just behaviour becoming more complex and seeming “pressure” as humans define it to deal with and adapt to planetary changes.
